Oil Painting Classes
I am once again giving a class in oil painting for beginner to intermediate painters at the Marblehead Arts Association fall 2010. This is always a fun class with limited attendance. Below is the class description.
Painting from Observation
Dates: Tues., Sept. 21, 28, Oct. 5, 12 | Time: 1–4pm
MAA Members: $140 | Non-Members: $160
Limit: 8 | Materials List Provided
This course will explore the fundamental techniques of painting from direct perception. Emphasis will be on understanding the properties and attributes of oil paint, strengthening observation skills, composition, color relationships, and creating accurate representations of light on objects.
Class critiques included.
